Mary Ann Blake was born on the 18th of February, 1843. Her mother, Mary, was aged 28 and her father, James was 42. Mary was born in Dura and baptised at the St Patrick's Church (on the site of the Roman Catholic Cathedral), Parramatta. Her brother John was born on February 6, 1847 in Dural. Then, her brother Michael was born in 1848 in Dural when Mary Ann was 5 years old. Sadly, her brother Michael, died on the 28th of March 1850 in Dural. Mary was aged 7 years old by this time. Then, in 1854, on September 7th, Mary Ann's sister Johanna was born. Mary Ann was 11 years of age.
Marriage
Mary Ann Blake married James Stevens in Waverley, New South Wales, on July 29th, 1873. She was 30 years old.
Birth of Sons
Mary Ann's son Francis George was born on the 25th of March, 1874. This was followed by John, born on the 17th of April, 1876, and William, born on the 17th of Aril, 1876.
Death of Two Sons
John passed away, at less than a year old on the 3rd of Mary, 1976. William passed away on the 13th of May, 1876, when he was also less than a year old.

Death of Mother and Father
Mary Ann's mother, Mary O'Hara passed away on the 25th of March, 1891 in Kenthurst at the age of 76. Her father, James Blake, had passed away on the 8th of April, 1880, at the age of 79.
Death of Half - Sister
Mary Ann's half sister, Ellen died on October 8th, 1806 in Kenthurst. Mary Ann was 63 years old.
Death
Mary Ann Blake passed away on the 23rd of December, 1914 in Kenthurst when she was 71 years old. A Cumberland Argus Newspaper, published on the 26th of December 1914, reads: "One of the oldest residents of Kenthurst, Mrs. Mary Ann Stevens, wife of our good friend, James Stevens..."
